When do I get paid?
You are paid every Friday a week in arrears, so ensure you send us your bank details and an in date P45/P46 as soon as you get an assignment with us.
I do not have a UK bank account
We can pay you by cheque, this will be sent to your home address.
I don't have a National Insurance Number
We can still pay you without a National Insurance Number, but do ensure you send it to us as soon as you have one.  If you do not have a National Insurance number, please follow this link:
Am I paying the right tax?

If you gave us a P45/P46 which is in date for the tax year then you should be paying the correct tax. If you are on a BR tax code then it is likely that you are being emergency taxed. Any tax queries need to be taken up with Inland Revenue quoting our PAYE reference/tax code 951/A314

I have been emergency taxed, how do I claim it back

If you have been emergency taxed and then you have sent us an in date P45/P46 your taxes will be adjusted and the emergency tax you paid will be reimbursed automatically, this takes around 3 weeks.  Or you can contact Inland Revenue quoting our PAYE reference/tax code 951/A314

How much holiday am I entitled to and how is it paid?

Under the current regulations, as a temporary employee, you are entitled to 24 days paid holiday per annum, accruing 0.4615 days of leave for every week you work.

When you take up an assignment you will be told how your holiday is paid as the way it is paid can vary from company to company.
How can I get my P45?
You need to request this from your previous employer when you leave.
I haven't been paid
This will usually mean that we have not received your timesheet.  Please call and speak to your consultant.
I have not received my pay slip
If you have changed address please let us know or there may be a delay in the post.  If it does not appear you can request another one by emailing payroll@appointmentsbilanguage.co.uk
I am moving house, who should I inform?

I am sick and can not work, what do I need to do?
It is vital that you call and speak to someone at Appointments Bi Language as soon as you know you are sick, preferably your consultant.  You must also call the company you are working for and inform your line manager.
I want to request holidays, what do I need to do?
Email payroll@appointmentsbilanguage.co.uk once dates have been approved by the Line Manager at the company you are working for.
